We’re absolutely smitten with this joyful trio! 🌈🐕 We’re absolutely smitten with this joyful trio! 🌈🐕 Meet Pumpkin, Dilly & Daisy – three very good girls who stole our hearts this week! From coastal adventures to countryside roaming, they’ve shown us exactly what life at Brechfa Forest Barns is all about. Pumpkin wasn’t happy with the location though & tried to dig her way to Australia 🇦🇺 😂 We spotted them with the most brilliant mug from Aberaeron: “Do you know what I like about people? Their dogs.” 🥰😂 I have to say though we were also quite taken with the trios hoomans 💕 They’ve loved every inch of our woodland – Scentral Bark, rolling fields, and those Carmarthenshire views. Why upside down? Because the mesh is smallest at the bottom, meaning even tiny escape artists like Chihuahuas can’t squeeze through 🐕 And for those determined diggers? The land is shale at the base making tunnelling underneath impossible - although it will give those claws a good filing! So the only way your dog is getting out… is if you leave the gate open! 😄 That’s one less thing to worry about whilst you’re on your dog friendly holiday. Worried you have TOO MANY DOGS for Brechfa Forest Worried you have TOO MANY DOGS for Brechfa Forest Barns? 🐕 Think again!! 🐾 Last week, the absolutely brilliant Helen Dempsey rolled up in her camper with not one, not five, but TEN gorgeous pups in tow — Patch, Elvis, Paddington, Sydney, Pine, Luthen, Minstrel, Hugo, Lilian and Banana!! Now here’s the thing. Banana’s already a seasoned Brechfa model (she basically owns our Instagram content at this point 🌟). The others? Let’s just say they’re getting competitive. Very competitive. Our ball pit has never seen such action, and we’re pretty sure Hugo practised his poses in the mirror before arrival. Even the sunset tried to muscle in on the action — couldn’t resist trying to photobomb the territorial photoshoots happening across the grounds!! 🌅 No such thing as too many dogs here. Just too little wall space for all the photos we want to frame. Especially of the very smug Banana! As well as a gorgeous catalogue of future Ad photos, they also very kindly ordered toys for other dogs to enjoy in the dog park! What a pack 💕 Want a similar experience? 🐶 REACTIVE & ANXIOUS DOG OWNERS 🐶 We completely u 🐶 REACTIVE & ANXIOUS DOG OWNERS 🐶 We completely understand how difficult holidays can feel when you have a reactive or anxious dog. ❤️ Many of our guests stay with us for exactly the same reasons. We regularly welcome nervous dogs, reactive dogs, older dogs and dogs recovering from illness or trauma, so we’ve tried very hard to create an environment that feels calm, spacious and low stress. Because we’re tucked away in the Brechfa Forest hills, it’s naturally much quieter than many traditional “dog friendly” holiday destinations where dogs are everywhere. The woodland tracks are vast and peaceful, and because there are so many routes, it’s usually very easy to avoid other walkers if needed. For dog friendly beaches, the ones we recommend are usually much quieter than most all year around. For woodland walks, it’s usually incredibly quiet here year-round. Even in summer, the forest can still feel wonderfully calm compared to busier tourist areas. All three cottages have direct access to walks from the door, so you don’t need to load up the car just to have a stress-free wander. 🌿🐾 CENARTH FALLS… where dog walks become little ad 🌿🐾 CENARTH FALLS… where dog walks become little adventures. 🐾🌿 Just a beautiful drive from Brechfa Forest Barns, Cenarth Falls is one of those magical places that feels like stepping into another world… ancient woodland, rushing waterfalls, rocky riverbanks and endless sniffing opportunities for adventurous pups. 💚 These two gorgeous explorers absolutely loved clambering over the rocks, paddling by the river and posing beside the famous falls. 🐕🐕 It’s one of our favourite spots for: ✨ Scenic riverside walks ✨ Cool shady woodland on warmer days ✨ Gorgeous photo opportunities ✨ Dog-friendly cafés nearby ✨ Peaceful spots to sit and listen to the water And yes… dogs always seem to sleep VERY well afterwards. 😴🐾 If you stayed with us, would Cenarth Falls be on your must-visit list? 👇💦
